Wakefield, Massachusetts - Dr. Chandra Mysore, P.E., D.E.E., has joined environmental consultant Metcalf & Eddy as a Vice President, announced company president Steve Guttenplan. Dr. Mysore will be based in Atlanta but will have combined national responsibilities as M&E’s water reuse technology director and the technology leader for desalination.
“We’re already a strong player in water reuse,” commented Guttenplan, “but demand for reuse is only going to grow over the next decade and it was time for us to bring in a really high-caliber person to lead our program. In our industry, Dr. Mysore’s combination of practical experience and high-end research background makes him a real asset. We’re very pleased to have him onboard. Dr. Mysore’s arrival at M&E is timely—it coincides with the publication of our new textbook, Water Reuse: Issues, Technologies and Applications, due for release late this year.”
Dr. Mysore joins M&E from Veolia Water North America, where he was he was National Director of Drinking Water Treatment. He brings more than 20 years of high-level applied research and practical experience in ozone, UV, and membrane treatment technologies. He has a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Colorado, and M.S. degrees in Water Resources and Reuse from the University of Hawaii. |
